| Eco Business Challenge for Schools and City College Norwich | |||
|
Our first programme saw 180 pupils from 5 Norwich secondary schools developed innovative eco business ideas and presented them to a panel of judges from Lotus, UEA Business School and Norwich City Council. A more advanced challenge is being run for teams of students at City College Norwich. Business mentors are supporting the teams over four months to develop their proposals.

| UEA Conference on Climate Change | |||
|
Five conferences at UEA were organised to give over a 150 students from various Norfolk schools a valuable opportunity to get an expert view on the science of climate change and design an energy reduction campaign for their school. |

| Schools Eco Boxes | |||
|
Seven boxes of equipment and educational activities to help young people explore their impact on the environment have been produced for loan to schools across Norfolk and Suffolk. These original materials were prepared in collaboration with Norfolk Children’s Services and the Teacher Scientist Network. |

| IMPACT: Schools Film on Climate Change | |||
|
A thought-provoking film showing students’ views on their impact on the environment has been shown to over 5,000 visitors to The Forum in Norwich.
Shown on a stunning 30-foot screen, the film was part of a regional art project on the environment. ncrt arranged a schools art competition to display students’ work alongside that of adult artists. |
