Brenda Arthur

Brenda, a former Sheriff of Norwich, was invited to Chair the Norwich Carbon Reduction Trust following her retirement as Chief Executive of Age Concern Norwich in April 2008. She has lived and worked in Norwich for over 30 years and hopes to make a contribution to making the city she cares for more sustainable. She believes that if we all make small changes we can collectively make a huge difference to our environment. By using fuels more effectively and reducing unnecessary use of electricity, oil and gas we can save ourselves money and make a positive difference to our environment.

On 1st May 2008 Brenda was elected as a Labour Councillor for the University Ward. She is an Executive member and holds the portfolios for Housing and Adult Services.
